我院邀请国际知名研究阿尔茨海默病(Alzheimer's Disease)专家讲学

    6月18日下午,应我院邀请,荷兰皇家科学艺术学会,神经研究所资深研究员,国际著名脑研究专家Ronald.W.H.Verwer博士在院科技楼学术报告厅,为我院神经内外科、老年医学科医生、在读研究生,轮转医生及实习同学讲授了阿尔茨海默病的最新研究进展。
    Ronald.Verwer 博士首次建立了人脑组织体外培养模型,弥补了动物实验缺乏人类神经系统疾病自然病理特征的不足,并在此基础上进一步研究了老化神经元和发生了退行性改变的阿尔茨海默病患者脑内神经细胞在功能和形态学上的改变。他的研究成果发表于较高影响因子的医学杂志。
    本次学术会议院领导高度重视,院党委书记胡世莲教授亲自过问和安排,副院长严光教授代表医院发表了热情洋溢的致辞。这体现了医院领导在抓临床工作的同时,对教育教学和科研工作的高度重视,将有助于我院医疗、教学、科研的同步发展。
    Ronald.verwer 博士主要对阿尔茨海默病的人脑组织培养模型及神经元的再激活等的最新研究进展给予了介绍,并就阿尔茨海默病的相关问题与我院同行进行了广泛的交流,使在座的临床医生、研究生及实习同学受益匪浅。
    本次学术活动进一步促进了我院老年神经性退性疾病,特别是阿尔茨海默病与国际上的交流,并推动我院对该领域研究进展的了解,也有助于我院开展相关的研究、预防和诊疗工作。(教育处)

   International Academic Communication on Alzheimer Research in Anhui Provincial Hospital
   On June 18, 2008, Dr. Ronald W.H. Verwer, a senior scientist of the Royal Netherlands institute for Neuroscience gave a lecture on progress of nurodegenerative disease in Anhui Provincial Hospital. The doctors specialized on neurological diseases and geratology, graduated students, rotate doctors and interns attended the lecture. Dr. Ronald W.H. Verwer bulit the culture model using human postmortem brain to explore the changes on the function and morphology of degenerating neruons. The results were published in the interational journals with high impact factors.
    The director of the hospital paid a lot of attention to this academic communciation and Professor Hu Shi-lian personally supervised  the whole preparation and Professor Yan Guang, a deputy director, gave a welcome addresses on behalf of the hospital. It indicats that the leadership of Anhui Provincial Hospital put emphasis both on clincial work and education program and would guild us to obtain new advancement on medicial practice, research and education.
    Dr. Ronld W.H. Verwer reviewed new progress on tissue culture model of Alzheimer’s brain and the reactivation of human aging neurons. After the leactue, the participants communicated with the expert from Europe.

    It promotes both the academic communication between our hospital and international counterparts and future research on geriatric medicine.(稿源:教育处;吴蕾译)
